Hi
I've mislaid my recipe for low fat choccy cake, I got it from the internet, it contained natural yogurt, I've searched thru the internet & can only find American recipes(which contain prunes).
Any one help me out?
Well here's the low fat one first.
150 calories, per slice, makes 12 cooking time 25 minutes
low fat cooking spray
175g sr flour
pinch salt
2 sachets of low fat drinking chocolate
100g soft brown sugar
100g polyunsaturated margarine
1tablespoon of clear distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180 degrees, or 350 degrees.
Spray a 20 cm (8 inch) square baking tin with low fat spray
sift the SR flour, salt and drinking chocolate into the tin, add the sugar and stir to combine
Make 3 grooves down the middle of the tin, pour the margarine into one, the vinegar into the second and into the third, the vanilla essence and 50g of chopped walnuts if you want to use them.
Then, pour 200ml of water over and stir really well to make sure there are no lumps of flour left.
Bake for 25 minutes and cool in the tin for 15, before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
