As a "reward" for spending some time looking at bank a/cs on line, I decided to break into my stash of Hagan Das (hidden behind the dogs' tripe in the 2nd freezer) .... and found it almost empty

Now I KNOW that I haven't opened it - only got it the weekend before last - and I'm certain that OH hasn't been looking for it - he NEVER goes into that freezer ... which leaves the Kippers.......

Kipper 1 went over to Ireland on Tuesday, so I can't interrogate him - so I think I'll have to have thumbscrews out for Kipper 2 when he gets in!!

What I want to know is - HOW DO THEY MANAGE IT????   Is it by way of osmosis?????  Empty packages remain pristine in the frozen vaults of the freezers.

We obviously need a Young Person to answer these mysteries - Ice Queen - where are you????

(and maybe that name is a giveaway) :D :D :D

My son managed to eat 4 Mars Ice Creams (that I had bought for myself) and stashed the empty packet in the freezer.  I fancied one only to find and empty pack.

I got my own back by giving him an easter egg - only I had eaten it and wrapped the foil around a small balloon and put it back in the packet.  Judgement!!!

LOL at Steph!!  My 8 nearly 9 year old has started the secret eating - find stashes of choccie wrappers under the sofa etc.........  Think it's because both his dad and I are over weight, and his brother is also big (he was 10lb 3 oz when he was born for heaven sake!) and #2 son *wants* the chocolate, but works on the theory that if nobody sees him eat it, then it doesn't count :((((((

Gohtboy annexes whole biscuit tins/fruit bowls for his exclusive delights in the Grot ( his room), Satan Filly is a secret crisp snatcher and the wee ones are like raccoons or Margots cats climbing up walls to reach goodies. So now I lock em all in the shed - the comestibles not the kids! Glad were not the only ones. Nobody touches my chocolate though as sudden painful retribution would inevitably follow. Another mystery is when do adolscents stop inhaling bread, milk, biscuits, fruit and when will my shopping stop looking like Im provisioning an army?

Lorelei
if you ever find the answer to that will you let me know ;)

As soon as my shopping is despatched into the kitchen cupboards its removed as if by magic by "Hungry Horace from upstairs"
and then he has the cheek to say "Theres never anything to eat in this house"

I think Ive got a little gremlin in my house.  Bottles of wine are there in the evening but come the morning they are all gone! Im sure he comes into my room and bounces on my head  when im asleep,   that would explain my headaches anyway.

Emma, If i was you I would get rid of these gremlins ASAP!!  Stealing your wine so you never get to drink it... ;)
