I am very interested in purchasing one male and one female pedigree bullmastiff pup. I wish to export these dogs to my country Trinidad and breed these dogs here. I would start your search with making yourself known to the National/regional breed club/clubs. You will understand that reputable breeders will need to feel reasured that anyone they are exporting to has similar attitudes and concern for the breed as they do themdelves, asnd want to be as sure as is possible that they will not be exploited.

To this end I suggest you obtain references from people in good standing in the Dog World in your Country. This could include someone in a respected poditon of the Governing Canine Body/Kennel Club. Also from your vet or anyone in a position to testify to your character and treatment of your animals. Most breeders will only deal with someone on a personal recomendation ofdomeone known to them!

I dont think anyone will sell you two dogs to take out of the country to breed just like that ,with all due respect owning a bullmastiff comes with great responsibility.We bullmastiff breeders whilst trying to promote our breed are also trying to protect them.They are a very large dog and in the wrong hands anything could happen. I would never sell a puppy abroad unless I knew the person, or if they were recommended to me by someone I trusted . I like to know where they are going to live. I like to know if they are going to be loved and not used for fighting or certain types of guarding. I like to get to know the person . I like a follow up after the pup is in his /her new home. I need to know that the pup will be returned to me if it does not work out. These are some of the conditions you will be met with .Are you an experienced breeder? Will you be prepared to follow advice from the breeders . do you have dogs already.? would you be prepared to get references as to your credibility as a responsible person and a potential responsible dog owner ? all this is necessary for the future well being of the bullmastiff and indeed any breed of dog going abroad .We owe it to our dogs to take every precaution necessary to ensure their safety. Certain countries are trying to ban our bullmastiffs so bad press would not help at all . I am truly sorry if you are straight and above board`, but you are going to have to furnish all that information if you are going to be successful in becoming a bullmastiff owner . if you really want them then you wont mind at all mari
