Was this to prevent corns, or treat one once it's there? My Whippet has one on one of the toes of a front (left) leg. Right now, when she goes lame again, I get my vet to get his scalpel out and cut it back a bit which helps for a while. The last time, he was talking about toe amputation

which clearly I don't want to have to put her through. I watched Noel Fitz dig one out some years ago now, but this isn't something my vet has offered as an option. I'm sure others will offer ways to toughen up those feet however.
