Topic Dog Boards / General / super strong squeaky toys?

has anyone come across a squeaky toy that stands up to a strong jawed dog?
my weimaraner loves them but hasn't had one for years as they are destroyed in seconds.  would love to get her one but wondering if the more expensive ones are any better then the cheaper ones she has already shredded.

.
Its to high a risk that the squealer might come out & be swallowed, which could potentialy cause a blockage, and in more ways than one...the other is that many dogs respond to these in an addictive/obsessional way, in turn if they cannot access them they can stress because of their absence, obsessive absences have no beneficial effects & may cause problems, best avoided.

Zuma loved 'squeekys' but did the same and ripped them up in a matter of minutes. He now has a collection of about 20 different squeekys which are all the very soft latex ones, some are at least 5 yrs old!
I think the latex is TOO soft to trash as he did get a more usual plastic one and that went in very short time.
It may be worth trying one - under supervision - to see what happens, they are normally a couple of quid so not that dear

I have bought the above from local market stall for £1.50 each.

edited to add - he is not obsessive about them and if he didn't have these he would have no toys, he has a couple of nylabones - regularly chewed but tennis balls - covering ripped off!, soft toys - ripped open!,  raggers - ripped and eaten!, plastic frisby type - you threw it - you fetch it!!!

I have a jack russell that destroys most toys that my big dogs have had for yrs and I found a thermo plastic rubber ball that so far has resisted his best attempts at destruction lol. Can't remember who makes it but if you go to zooplus and type in "green squeaky ball" it's on there. It's tennis ball size.

Have. You tried the 'tuffys' toys? Some have squeakers in them. I only get the grade 10 or 9 with mine. There ment to have tested the grade 10 rings on zoo animals.
