Bless.........some people are just not very good at expressing themselves. I expect being her first litter it was all a bit unexpected the vet visit probably not part of what she was expecting and with her being out of the loop in not taking the dam to the vet and collecting her and the pups, I guess the effort you went to does not register that you went above and beyond.
Must admit, generally when I've been on hand with first time breeders, the breeder is so caught up in everything going on and the wonder of the pups that we do sometimes become a passing glance, part of the furniture if you like, I've always felt appreciated though but usually expect the real heartfelt thank you to be a few days later, once it all sinks in.
I guess the facebook thing is her not wanting to look as though she didn't cope with it all on her own in front of her potential puppy owners?........perhaps........not really knowing her.

I doubt she even knows you are a little upset to get no mention, people are fickle.
We don't do it for flowers (although they are nice

) or for praise, we do it to ensure a safe and protected dam and pups, so pat yourself on the back deservedly so, and just remember the dam sure thanks you and appreciates what you did, enjoy your eggs

(well more useful than flowers I guess

) and be proud that you are a reliable and caring breeder.
