I got the Touch from Tesco today, and I'm really liking it so far, for the extra £20 I feel it's well worth the money.
Straight out of the box and you do notice it's a wee bit heavier, but not by much, and certainly not enough to be a drawback, it's also a bit thicker, but again, not a problem, as it's not by much. I haven't done a side by side comparison ( can do if you want ) but I'd say the print is darker, you can also alter the script as well as the font, there are three options to choose from.
The Touch screen is excellent, you can either swipe or tap the screen, I'd say the transition from page to page is just the same as the old un'.
The dictionary is a lot easier, just touch the word and the dictionary pops up, also works with highlighting whole passages for doing notes.
Really tickled by the magnify option on images, just touch and hold on an image and a wee magnifying glass appears, touch it and the image gets bigger. You can also increase the size like you do on an IPad.
I had a shot of the text to speech function, you couldn't enjoy a book by listening with this function, it's a bit satnavy, but a fun addition, you can alter the gender of the speaker and the rate of speech.
You can also listen to music while you read if you have mp3 files, and listen to proper audio books.
It took me a while to stop pressing the sides to turn the page, but all in all, it's just as good as the original, but with bells and whistles too.
Forgot to mention the keyboard, which is much quicker to use, the keys are far enough apart that you don't hit keys you don't mean too.
