Hi all,
Here I am back with another problem!
As you may know we have three dogs, 1 female aged almost 12 (no probs with her at all) a nearly 2year old neutered male and a ten month spayed female.
From the time we got our little one there has been a lot of friction between her and the boy who was 1 year and a month when we brought her home. He thought he was the guy in the big picture and wasn't too long in showing baby who was boss. As time passed things got a little better but then when little one started to grow to around same size as boy he retaliated by going for our old girl. He got very aggresive with her and had to be seperated on several occassions. After a few good telling offs he got the message and stopped attacking the oldie.
Problem is the two young ones are constantly lunging at each other and boy will not let anyone speak to youngest without throwing a tantrum and yelling as if to say "do not dare speak to her when I'm around to talk to instead" He gets right in there and shifts her out of the way! We ignore them both when this carry on starts. Same thing occurs at walkies time. He has to have his lead put on whilst sitting on grooming table as he goes ballistic when hubby goes to the bathroom (he seems to associate bathroom with time for walkies lol) and attacks girl whilst bringing the house down.
They are also making a terrible racket outside as they just never leave each other alone. We have tried bringing one in and letting other out but one just dances around kitchen making as much noise as they possibly can!!!! (Neighbours not amused)
To add to the problem young girl has taken to peeing and pooping in the house if we go out. We have a normal routine and stick to it. I go out four mornings a week for 3 hours and maybe two of those mornings my daughter would be at home. The problem is the young lady will be taken out first thing in the morning 6-45 am and refuse to do anything (believe me we have tried) and then maybe after her breakfast she might submit and perform or maybe not. I have tried taking her outside for 10 minutes at a time and if she doesn't do anything bring her back in and repeating this often. At times she seems determined not to do anything and she is the same on a walk. Male does his business, she does nothing!
She was crate trained and never toileted in her den but would quite happily come in from outside and sit down and pee on floor. Never ever pooped in house until now. She has been out of her crate for nearly three months now and up until past few weeks she was fine but now when I'm out she chews the other dog beds, has eaten four radiator caps and two thermostatic valves so it appears she is wide awake when I leave the house and my daughter has told me when she has been at home she hears her getting out of bed and our boy telling her off so maybe that is what starts the wrecking behaviour and the peeing????
We are at our wits end now as there seems to be no peace in our home at all and my hubby has even got to the stage where he is afraid to ring me during the day because of what he may hear.
BTW if I come in and there is pee and poop in the kitchen I put the two young ones outside and clean up before letting them back in. I say nothing. Well, not out loud anyway!!!!!!
Thanks for any helpful advice you can give
