When my dog (5 month puppy) was diagnosed with elbow displasia (UAP), he was switched onto adult food
(suprisingly this was something the vet agred with the breeder on!).
Any posibility of encouraging growth rate and/or excess weight needs avoiding.
I personally would not want to feed Orijen due to the high protein content, but if you are happy with that food then it's worth considering switching to the adult variety.
While diet is important in the management of displasia, so is exercise , this is something that your vet should have discussed with you, as building the muscles up really help to support the joints as well as helping to keep the joints healthy & mobile.
Also a good quality Glucosamine HCL suppliment can really help. I highly reccomend Synflex Original (just google for it) :)
