You will find a link to the pannel of eye testing people here http://www.bva.co.uk/public/chs/eye_scheme.asp I am don't know about TT hip tests not sure if they are generaly available but the KC/BVA hip tests can be found on the same site which is the BVA

You can have your dog x-rayed by any Vet for hip scoring,a nd the plates are sent off to the BVA for scoring.

You may find you get slightly better results though, and also a pretty good idea of how good the hips are from a specialist vet who does lots of scoring.

Recently I opted for an experienced Vet to have my youngest hips done, and two friends from Somerset and another friend local to me took our four to be x-rayed at a Vet who knows what they are looking at with the x-rays.  We travelled to Hereford.  Waiting for the results now and will be interesting to see how close the Vets guesses are.

Also the cost were far more reasonable.

Three years ago at my Vet I paid over £170, and the girl from Bridgewater was quoted £180 to have her dog hip x-rayed, we paid just over £100 (inclusive of the £35 BVA charge) at the vet we used and the dogs were just sedated.

Hi Barbara, think the OP is looking for TT hip scoring which I believe is different to that offered by the KC/BVA scheme but as I said I am not sure. Thought you would know, so perhaps you did not pick that up form the OP; do you know?

I think the OP has a TT-Tibetan Terrier-there is no such thing as TT Hip Scoring-TT's are scored by the BVA-My friend Elaine has been breeding TT's for over 30 years & hers all go through the BVA scheme

One of my dog owners has had two of hers done and I presume in Somerset.  Both have come back with good scores, I could get in touch with her if you wish and ask where she had them done?  I'm sure that it was just her local vet.

The BVA will simply tell you any Vet can x-ray for the Hip scheme.  I recently asked them for advice on finding a Vet that did lots of hip x-rays and was told they didn't keep such statistics, or details of the Vets specialisation.
