I have been recommended this food by my dog trainer, has anyone used it or heard of it before?

DUCK COMPLETE Excellent

Ingredients:

Tripe, heart, liver, kidneys 50%, cereals, vegetable by-products.

Guarantee:

Moisture 61.9%, raw protein 11.2%, raw fat 10.6%, raw ash 2.1%, raw cellulose 1.2%.

DUCK COMPLETE is whole food. You don't have to add anything.
One of the main requirements of food is that your dog likes it. You will see that your dog is mad about the smell and taste of DUCK COMPLETE. Indeed, the smell and taste of fresh meat are irreplaceable.
DUCK COMPLETE is user-friendly. Our one-kilo packs are divided into easy 100-gram portions. This enables you to take out the right amount very easily. Defrost at room tempurature or in the fridge. Always give the food at room temperature to yor dog.
DUCK COMPLETE suits every dog. Small and big, young and old can eat the same food.
DUCK COMPLETE does not contain offal, but only beef, lamb, poultry and meat that have been approved for human consumption.
DUCK COMPLETE does not contain any preservatives, colouring agents or taste enhancers. In traditional commercial food, these products are responsible for stomach and intestine problems, allergies, skin problems and behavioural problems.
DUCK contains natural meat juices. As a result, your dog does not need to drink litres of water every day and the risk of gastric torsion is reduced.
DUCK is highly digestive and thus guarentees limited and compact excrements.
DUCK COMPLETE reduces the production of plaque.
DUCK COMPLETE reduces the risks of torsion of the stomach.

I think Berriewoods sells it - I think it's a frozen, raw complete food. No experience with it.

Hi
Yes I have used it and I have some in use at the moment. It does have grain in which I am not too sure about, but I don't see too much evidence of this coming out the other end. I don't give it on its own, I use it as an extra to other meats about 2 or 3 times a week .Its very handy because it comes in sort of Burger sized portions so its easy to work out the amounts. I generally order from AMP or Albion but as Berriewoods minimum amount is much smaller I sometimes get my stuff from them & this is the time I order the DUCK. My dogs love it & I haven't had any upset tums or anything.

duck is really good but also natures menu k9 traditional is also, these are like the barf patties mentioned in the australian barf books both can be had from berriewoods but for duck complete tpms is cheaper.

I feed Skinners Duck and Rice Working dog food and it's really really good!  £20 for a 15Kg bag.

Is the natures menu k9 traditional a frozen food as well? Can't seem to find it on their website?

K 9 can be had from Berriewoods its about 6.90 a box of 10 x 400g. I feed this and duck to my Border collies alongside other raw meats and veg and fruit. but i do feed a little natural choice mixer as i have found my dogs need it. tpms has duck at about 23.02 cheaper than berriewoods at the moment

Hi cadbury,

I too had difficulty finding the website.  Here it is though.

http://www.ducknatuurvoeding.com/Ducknatuurvoeding.natuurvoeding.cfm?langue=EN&pageid=14

I've fed my Akita X Mastiff on this for a few months now and he loves it!  His coat is in tip top condition and no issues with stomach upset or anything.
