Oh dear... not so much sold the Bargain bucket..as kicked it! :-D

I didn't know about the Pier, I shopped there last weekend.  I hope not I spend a fortune on candles in there, I am sure I must keep them going.

Fast food outlets will never go bust in Scotland, that means people would have to cook - heaven forbid!  ;-)

The Pier, a shop (often within a shop) which sells homewares, cushions, throws,candles etc

tooolz........come to sunny Stockton........
youll be in takeaway heaven......there's no Pier,(its not posh enough for that) nor is there much else in the way of decent clothes shops etc....... but.... nearly everyshop(Im serious too) is a takeaway of some description including  KFC,Maccy D's, Burger King  and Domino's.There is even a road thats just dedicated to take outs alone......as long as you dont visit there on a Friday or Saturday as it becomes Chav/druggie  central and you take you life in your own hands if youre brave enough to go there.

Every other place that thrives here is a pub so at least you will have something to wash all that food down with,there are millions of them so the choice is litterally yours

If you dont fancy take out...theres always the luxury of Greggs the bakers or Cooplands where you can fill up on Stockton's staple diet of Sausage roll or Pasty ;)

Now if PHD (Pizza Home Delivery) were to go bust up here I don't know how I'd cope.  They do a 2ft by 2ft square pizza.  It's the business :-)

According to their website they've gone into administration, I was in there the other day & they had up to 70% off all stock.  Small tower candles that are normally about £8 were £4.80 each so I stocked up!
