Went to our first ferret show today and son got 3rd in junior handling!! Can only hope daughter does that well when she starts showing the clumber puppy! Far less formal than dog showing and every one was so friendly and helpful. Showing is @blind@ so no risk of faces taking all the prizes. Now we're going to have to fit ferret shows round the dog shows!! Major pros for ferret showing is that its so much cheaper, £1 a class and they provided a free buffet. Great day out all round and a rosette was the icing on the cake!!

I took my new kitten out yesterday to a show and she won 1st and Best of Breed then went Best of Variety kitten (British).  We came away with 6 rosettes & a haul of goodies!
