Some of you may remember me posting last year about my neighbours son and his baby, Alex. Little Alex was premature and unfortunately didn't live very long :-( Well they have had another son, Jack. He, too, was premature, but he has been home for a few weeks now. Unfortunately this week he took ill and has been rushed into the sick kids hospital in Glasgow. :-( :-( It looks like he is going to be ok, but at this time of year needs all the help he can get. He had a very severe chest infection and they have had to put him into a drug induced coma to drain all the muck out of his chest and lungs. Poor little mite. They are hoping that they will be able to start bringing him round tomorrow. He's a wee fighter, and I truly hope he makes it.

How devastating for baby Jack  and his poor parents. They will all be in my thoughts and I hope there is better news tomorrow.

Poor baby and poor parents. Keeping everything crossed for the little un.

On the Prayer list - bless him and I hope his family manage to stay strong too.  The strain on them must be unbearable.  It's sad but it's only at times like these we truly appreciate how lucky we are to have healthy children.

May his Guardian Angel be on permanent gentle watch.

Lindylou,
Will keep them all in my thoughts...
We are seeing this so much on the neo-natal ICU where I work and it is really frightening for the parents to see their baby going through this...
Praying for a positive outcome for a special baby boy...

Jack won't be home for Christmas :-(  He has picked up an infection in the hospital so will be in probably until the new year. Poor mite.
