I have a german shepherd girl named TIN, I bought from Wales 2 years ago. her DOB is 09/12/2006, that means she is now still a puppy. at Jan of 2008, I needed to go the America to deal with something, and will get back on Jan of 2009. so during this period, I found a friend named JAMES to take care of her for me.  BUT to my expectation, James used a stud dog to get TIN pregnant ,and now selling the puppies. the point is he didn't tell me anything about this (I hear this from another friend,and also find the advertise from website), that is without my permission. I don't want to breed my girl at all, how can he do this??? and before breeding James did not do any HIP or other test!!!!!!  do everybody think he has break the law ?  on TIN's KC PAPER, the owner is the breeder, I didn't change the ownership, but the breeder can prove TIN is mine, not others.

the more worse is I left my camera and computer at the house (I and my husband used to share the same house with JAMES ), but now he stolen TIN 'S pics and KC PAPER from my camera and computer !!!!!!! he use them to commercial purpose on website also without my promission!!!!!!

I don't care the money James earn from selling the puppies, but I really want my TIN back, she is still too young, unsuitable to be a mum, but that James didn't want to give TIN back to me, how can I do? if James is a nice person, taking care of TIN well, I am thinging give TIN to him , but at fact , he just use TIN as a tool.!!!!!!!!! lol, my poor TIN, I am now still in America. which organization can I report to, kennel club?  RSPCA?

i was not singing, and if i have upset you then i apologise. we have recently had several 'trolls' on the forum and to be honest much of your post suggested you might be another (for example using the phrase lol about what would be, to my view, an extremely distressing occurance, seemingly being stunned at the suggestion of the police being involved in what is clearly a criminal action etc).

if this is not the case then i apologise. i also wish you the very best in resolving this matter.

i'd go and get my dog back and pursue criminal charges and if for some reason they fell through i'd pursue damages.

If you cared that much, like I would for my bitches, I would fly back to the UK and press charges NOW!

thank a lot for your understanding, one year ago, my son went to USA to study there, i bought TIN and take her as my daughter, we planed to spray her, but unluckness happened to my son, so we had to go to USA to deal with that, I am a bad mum to TIN ~~~~~~~, we left too quickly ,no time got her spray, but i find a friend JAMES to take care of her, BUTBUTBUTthat is the A nightmare, I know as a mum , i should find her a safe family, which make me repentant of this. she is too young, really ,too young to be a mum. sorry for my word, i just dont know how to deal with everything.

It is difficult to understand your posts when you write so many of your posts in caps, and with little punctuation, so forgive me if I ask you if this is what you are posting about:

1.     You left your 1 year old bitch puppy with a friend whilst you had to go to the USA.   Is this correct?   
        Did you leave him money to pay for her food, medications, etc whilst you were away?
If not, how was he supposed to pay for her keep?

2.     The "friend" has stolen your registration papers and then mated your bitch.   
         Has he "transferred" her registration into his name and forged your signature?   
If so, this is theft and you should inform the police accordingly.

3.      If your bitch puppy has had puppies, has he sold them?
         If so, then what has happened to the money he would have received for the puppies?

4.     Unless you have evidence that the dog has been ill-treated, left without food and water, the RSPCA will have no interest in the case.

5.     The KC will need to see evidence of some kind that forgery has been committed if he has transferred her to his ownership.
        In these circumstances it might be possible to stop the registration of any puppies.

6.     Are you now trying to find her another home?   
        If so, I suggest you contact her breeder first, if s/he cannot take her, then you should contact Breed Rescue.

Margot, I think she means she Should have found her a safe family while she was away.

1. yes, i find a person to take care TIN for us, and pay him months money for every thing during aboding, but I also permited him if these money are not enough, i would pay him more after i get back (because at the beginning, we thought we just leave TIN for 2 or 3 months)

2. yes, absolutely, only i and TIN'S breeder have the KC REG PAPER, some documents and pics of TIN are in my computer. i didnt give everyone else. he didn't transfer the registration  in his name, when i bought TIN, the contract said if transfer, it need the breeder' signature. and withour my signature, he cant transfer the ownership.

3. yes my bitch had 9 pups, JAMES' advertise still on the website. but i don't know if he has sold them out.  in my opinion, he will keep all the money himself.

Report the theft to the police and tell them all of the story then contact trading standards, the breeder, the website you found the advert on and the KC.

If you have a trusted family member that will look after the dog then you can tell the person looking after your dog that the family member will be comming to collect it then tell the police you would like there assistance.

I would also contact a solicitor and get them to deal with the one who has your dog just now.

But we dont know the emergency with the son, as to why this person had to stay longer in the US than planed.  We know what we would do for our bitches under normal circumstances, but since we dont know why this person has stayed so long in the US (apart from it being an emergency with their son) we can not judge the person for not being able to come back home straight away.

In response to the OP:

I would contact the police, and find out what legally you can do.  If you only were supposed to be gone, a short time, and didnt return, then it could be considered abandoned property.  I am not sure if you sent money for only two or three months, or whether you have been sending money all along (sorry, hard to follow the posts) but if someone left a dog with me, for that long, with no money to support the dogs upkeep, I would look into whether it was abandoned and how to transfer the dog into my name.  This could be the case you are facing.

In Canada, the pups belong to the registered owner of the dog, so check with the KC to see what is what there in regards to the pups.

I think the IP depends on where the server is does it not?  I'm sure there are a couple of folk here who are in the UK yet have a US IP.  Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Although, children or dogs?  It's like daddy or chips isn't it?  Dogs and chips everytime ;-)  Whatever, I hope this gets sorted out ASAP.  And if anyone did that to my dogs, I'd swim with Atlantic if I had to (well, doggy paddle at least).

AOL UK customers can come up as USA but I havent seen it the other way around. Also the person could be using a web based proxy. Hope the persons is not a troll but I am sure admin will find out if the person is.

Didnt even notice the flag!  Seeing a UK flag on a UK forum, is nothing new, so I dont even register it now.  Good point, as now I think the person is just pulling legs.

This is all terribly confusing. If there is a young dog at the centre of this who has been bred from I just hope someone gets some sense, gets her spayed asap and into a nice home, be it James's (I doubt )or where so she can have a save and happy life very quickly.
