Okay so it's only puppy classes for our Good Citizen but when 'teacher' says 'we'll get the Shelties to show us'  or 'look at the Shelties they're so focused', or 'they would do really well at agility' mummy feels good and proud of her little beauties.
School is such fun :)

And so you should feel 'good' :)
Me and Maddie were always 'picked' on at training LOL but I think that was because they wanted a laugh!!

Well done to you :)

Sounds great!  You should be proud. :)

It is nice isn't it - I get a buzz from Ellie doing her 'on the bed' exercise perfectly that's almost as good as winning a show class - I just love to show her off, whether it's her brains or beauty or both! :-)

Now now Missie...you know that's not the real reason...but the truth has to be kept quiet because of your undercover work as an MI5 agent! ;-)

I know exactly what you mean Pinky :-) My girl has just finished her beginners obedience and I miss it so much! She was mummy's little angel as soon as she arrived at each class- except for her final test when she decided that the cheese someone had dropped was far more interesting than me! Little minx. Now I really need something to fill the void! :-P

It really is good fun, we have a massive variety of breeds in the class there's a  7 month Great Dane with a leg at each corner and no co-ordination in any of them, he's lovely and sweet, there's a 6 month crazy Springer that just wants to run like a mad thing everywhere, a fiesty little Scottie, and several other babies that just go for the treats :)
My OH and I go with both our babies and they're so sweet to watch, some how they seem older than a lot of the pups but that could be because they're used to living with 3 other dogs.
I really enjoy it and will have to book up for even more classes of various types when this finishes.

It is a coincidence that you too have a sheltie pup called Isla,  Pinky.  Mind you one day on one of our walks along the river (Thames) I did hear someone shouting for Isla who was a westie( must be the scottish connection).

I have started taking Isla to obedience classes so she is in with all sorts of ages.  There is another pup her age who is a border/JR (tiny), an English setter who snoozes most of the time! a very vocal staffie and Isla's favourite is Candy who is a rescued and to die for bull mastiff, so gentle!  Isla is pretty good I think although she is less focused at the classes than at home when we do our homework.  Her eyes are out on stalks most of the time as it is all SO EXCITING!!
