It's a fractured and unofficial word commonly used by parents of toddlers + (owners of terriers) ;) :) :D :)
Probably a combination of Explore and Escape, or would that be reversed???? ;) :) :D

Never heard of either .....is it common to the US only? (Having had a few toddlers myself ;) ) And what do both of them mean?

Oops, you read before final edit.
Brain not working well with fingers today.
Both words are plays on speech (exploricate + edumication) ... similar to Bain Dramage (Brain Damage). It's similar, I guess to playing with Pig Latin. :) The second is tongue in cheek towards schools :)

I can't speak for the Continental US, but if you use either words in the High school or with parents here in this community, everyone will understand what's being said.

PS Christmas in my house if one of the most quietest times. We are three adults and no more. Thats the way I like it and have always liked it. Who is going to believe that?

Just a warning!!!!

Had a call 3/4 years ago from a lady wanting a BT puppy, she had a very sad story to tell.

They had a 15 week old BT pup, and over Christmas, whilst they were in one room, he wandered into another room got a box of Pringles (you know the ones in the long cylindrical boxes), took the lid off stuck his head in to get at the crisps. When the found him not too many minutes later, one suffocated puppy.

They were obviously devastated.

So please watch out if anyone has young small breed pups over the Christmas period, I would hate this to happen to anyone else.

Pringles are banned in our house now if we have any youngsters about.

Oh good grief Lady Dazzle, thats awful. We have a regular visit from a three year old toddler so things like that are well hidden but I suppose I would not have thought of that anyway. How dreadful.

This forum is very informative and I am glad I joined.
