Hiya, my partner was on his way to the shop last night and as he was on his way there a Yorkshire Terrier went for his ankles and was being aggressive towards him.
My partner told the lady that she should have the dog a lead if its like that and what if it was a young child walking past instead.
The lady said that she was sorry and the reason the dog was acting like that was because she had just had puppies?
Is that normal!!
Nope!
Nice excuse though. :-D
you have to question why she wasnt with the pups if she had just had them!!!!!
Iam not sure but maybe she was just giving her dog a quick walk for to use her business

If she had just had pups she could be feeling very protective of them especially when she is out and stressed by being away from them. Some people say just had and mean within the last 6months so she might not have had a litter at home. Also if she has had pups her hormone levels could be all over the place and she might be acting out of character.

If that is the case she should definitely have been kept on a lead.
I know alot of people who have female dogs and some of them have had puppies before but i have never known any of them to react the way that the Yorkshire Terrier did
Well, how totally irresponsible of them to breed from a bitch with such an awful temperament. What happens when the puppy buyers want to see their mother and she's equally aggressive then?
