i remember seeing a bureau de change at the nec when i was at crufts before , will it be open next weekend , just incase i need more sterling when i am there

Don't know about the Bureau De change, but there are cashpoint ATMs & a bank

There is a NatWest Bank situated by Hall 4 in the Piazza.
This is open Monday to Friday 09:00-16:30 (except Wednesday 09:30-16:30)

Cash Points

Cash points inside and outside the Natwest Bank by Hall 4.

Natwest cash point opposite Hall 8 by Atrium 2 entrance.

There are also four other portable cash machines in the Atrium, there is a charge for using these machines.  They are located adjacent to Hall 6 entrance and opposite "food to you"which is located near to Hall 6 entrance, by Concourse Suites 1 & 2 and opposite Hall 18.

I don't know about the NEC but there is one at the railway station, handy for the airport, that you could access pretty easily.  Not sure of opening hours though.
