I noticed Dozer squinting and eye watery about 3 days ago so made a vet app can't get in till tonight. His eye is now open but very red and cloudy and does not seem to be watering or squinting- do you think I should still take him in or should I cancel and keep an eye on him?

I think with eyes I would normally pay my money and go and see the vet.  If the redness is mild, I usually treat it myself first for a day or two with eyebright solution to see if it clears up - if there's squinting, then I'm going to need the vet's help straight away, particularly if there is any discharge.
My old girl tended to be a bit prone in her youth (big round eyes and bracken don't mix), and I knew to take her sooner rather than later.

Will see what hubby thinks when he gets home- his eye does look alot better but just not sure- think I will have better look at it with a flash light and see what I can see- but more then likely will be bringing him in- always something before the holidays....

I would 100% take him to the vets - eyes can deteriorate so quickly and become ulcerated if not treated

I called the vet and seeing if I can get some more of this meds (eye drops) for ulcers on the eye and try that for about a week- I have started him on it and would like to give it about 3 - 7 days and see how it works- if not then I will be bringing him in- his eye looks exactly like T-Bones and this is what was perscribed for her. So am waiting for a call back.
