We are off to The Winners Show in Amsterdam this weekend to support our puppy who lives in The Netherlands and meet up with good friends.  Any Champdoggers going??? If so perhaps we could say hello!

I am in the midst of getting the dogs ready to go to Holland. This is the third and final dutch trip this year and my friends & I have entered three dogs for the Winners (we exhibit on Sunday). Unfortunately I will not be go myself this time as I have a girlie due to whelp this weekend.

Oh I can already feel the stress building already ..... I can't help but worry about my the kids away from home, are they behaving for my friends?? Worry about the sea crossing .. my friends are not great sailers if its rough !! On Sunday will be on pins until I get a call about the results then add the stress of whelping a litter !!!!!   Anyone got a valium :))

Was going to go, but not working at the mo so no spare pennies. Going to a local ( 2,5 hours travelling) National / International show instead next weekend. Although will be watching results with interest as one of my bitches breeder is Dutch and goes every year so will be cheering her on in spirit.:)

Will be there on Sunday with GSP and GWP and friends HWV. Might pop in Staurday too. What are you showing.

We will be there on the Saturday for the Saint Bernards.  Our puppy will be handled by his dutch owners, so we will be very proud to see a dog of our breeding being shown.  We are going to the show on Sunday as well to see breeds we don't normally see, as we have done all the touristy things in Amsterdam loads of times.  Will definitely come and see the GSP judging and cheer you on. What breed do you have Karen?  Good Luck to you both.

As someone who has never exhibited overseas, could someone please enlighten me as to what a dog has to have won to enter the Amsterdam Winners Show ?

Results from 2007 listed under "Press" on top menu bar. Main winners listed on page accessed vis link individual FCI Group results/pics. Not sure how long it will take to get results up on the site.

there is no qualifications needed. A dog is eligable to enter as long at it is registered with an FCI kennel club or one which has a reciprocal agreement - such as our Uk Kennel Club
