Sorry guest, would have thought you have left it far to late. You don't say what breed your dog is, important knowledge for a stud owner, I would forget it this time round, speak to you bitches breeder and get help to chose a stud that will suit her and wait until her next season. In the mean time if you have not already done it you can get the health checks done. Jackie

she's a whippet as a guess Ja:)kie and the affixes would be recognisable to Whippet owners.

HOWEVER I agree that day 5 of her season is rather late to be looking for a stud dog. I would have thought that for months before you would be looking at dogs whose type and personalities you like and seeing how well they would compliment your bitch in breeding lines and type. Weak front + good front etc - you don't want to double up on any problem areas do you?

The comment Jackie makes about relevent health checks is important - presuming there are some checks done in Whippets.
Longdog can you tell us that ?

Sure you are right Sara, I did not reconise them as Whippet affix's but thats the trouble of only knowing show dogs I suppose. Not that I'm saying there aren't any being show but they did not ring a bell with me, but names are not my strong point. Jackie

I've found a Palmik - A Mr Howgate's affix

I didn't recognise them either Jackie but my mate Google helped me out ;)
