Is it alright to feed raw Turkey drumsticks, a friend of mine works in a factory, and gave me some, there huge!
Have fed them some raw vension, which went down extremley well, but was not sure about Turkey.
Anybody else feed it?

I think the skins are very fatty so best removed, but the rest is fine.
Hope they enjoy them.

Hi Fiona,

don't know your size of breed but my own dogs (medium size, 19-23kg) don't cope well with load bearing chicken bones so personally I wouldn't give them turkey drumsticks - maybe thighs but not the lower leg.   I find they don't crunch and digest these stronger and more brittle bones thoroughly and waste material is worryingly shard filled .... not something which sits comfortably with my imagination never mind their GI tract!
