Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, as our girl is getting older (8yrs old) she has started getting pustules in between her toes on the webbing. She has been to the vet on a number of occasions who have given her ceporex, this clears it up but then a month later it comes back again and all they can suggest now is steroid treatment which id like to stay off as long as possible.

She also had an absess that healed up but healed with quite hard skin and I think she also finds this quite an itchy patch. On this patch and her toes as she is itching, and a white coated dog, the saliva is dying the hair that typical pink colour.

We have tried things like tea trea bathing and droplets, aloe vera, hibiscrub even sudocrem but nothing seems to stop it. We think she is only licking and chewing during the night as we rarely see her licking during the day.

Does anyone have any other suggestions herbal or otherwise to ease her desire to lick and chew at the hotspots?

I find THORNIT (for ears) very good on my Bulldogs feet when they get sores
I wash them in MALASEB (get from vets) dry and then dust with Thornit seems to work for my lot

Try cornflour (from the kitchen cupboard)  I have used this on many occasions. twice for wet exema, and it cured it. It is messy but it works
