I would doubt a 5p would give an EBT much trouble but keep a close eye on her and watch for any change (boom! boom! ... I'll get me coat :-D )

My friends flatcoat ate £300+ in notes once. Her husband had been paid in cash for a bus hire job he had done. He came put the money on the side in the kitchen, and went upstairs for a shower. When he came down stairs the money was nowhere to be seen so he asked his missus where she had put the money, she had not seen it as unknown to them until moment only their dog had seen it...... tasted it even....

Over the next two days every time the dog had business to see to in the garden the little packages left behind glittered with the silver strips from the notes. My friend it was like finding a bizarre Christmas decoration around the garden when she was clearing up.

Out of interest, how may of the notes was he able to replace at the bank???
So how much money did he recover to be spent????

If pop/sport socks, knickers can work their way out I am sure a 5p  wont have a problem... but maybe thats just my Boxers...  what ever goes in comes out the other end..

Try pulling a pop sock out of a backside  on a main road in full view of oncoming traffic....THEY STRETCH!!!!!!!!  lovely!! and covered in poo too.

I have vivid memories of going to a customrrs and talking about her hedge, Her working gundog Springer Poohed, Well it didnt al come out!!!
They had to pull a sock out!!!!
I was disgusted!!!!!! especially when they pulled it out LMAO, thing is, if it was my dog, I would have puled it out no problems LMAO :D :D :D

this reminds me of my son in his younger days, who managed to swallow a ten pence piece, though what he had been doing sucking on it in the first place was never quite explained. A trip to casualty and and an interview with the triage nurse went like this: "How are you feeling now, about the same as before or worse?" My son muttered that he was about the same--allowing the nurse to respond "So, no change then!". He had to endure several slot machine jokes from sibling too.

Years ago now I caught one of my cats up on the work surface, stealing what was left of our sunday roast.I shouted at him and shooed him off .didn't give it another thought .The next day he came in,with what I thought was a huge tape worm hanging out of his bum, anyway on closer inspection I identified it as the string from th beef that he had stolen, about 4 inches of it which I had to pull out yuk.

Anne
i have 2 EBT'S the things we have had to pull out of thier buts over the years
thongs popsocks once even a CARRIER BAG!!!!! 5p shouldnt be a problem
one of them ate a remote control once, luckily she left the battery.
EBT'S are doggy dustbins and i wouldn't worry too much.

but if theres any change let us know :-D sorry couldnt resist

I had left a show entry on the worktop this Friday ready for posting with £20 in (know I shouldn't send cash but...!) went to post it and it had gone! Not a shred of evidence left! Following day, tiny amount of something that resembled a note in the poo but not enough to wash and take into bank yet. Apparently if you have the serial number of the note they will exchange it!
Now wondering if it is an omen and I shouldn't enter show, although its going to be doubly expensive now!!
OH joked that at least Marco has doubled his value now!

Our first dog (springer x border collie) ate OH's tax rebate cheque to the tune of £3557 (remember exact amount lol) luckily we found the corner of the cheque in the hallway. Tax office issued another but we were unable to take our planned holiday!

Hi Anne, did you ever see the 5p again ?!

My Cavalier has been in the bad books this week...but I've been in the bad books myself for leaving things around that she's managed to get hold of. She's eaten some choice items from our bathroom bin (I'll let you use your imagination) and chewed through a pair of knickers

My friend has a Miniature Schnauzer that once ate a Peperami wrapper - she had to pull that out of its bottom !!! :-O
