Right, work are having a 1920's night, its all paid for at the Alton Towers hotel on the 17th December... however in the evening its themed as 1920's and we have to buy an outfit ourselves!! NOW!

I have had a look online at fancy dress shops, on ebay etc... and i am still not sure, i hate the 20's they had awful clothes!! My hair is so long down to my bum and its red... how on earth will i get that in a wig?! LOL! How many red haired 1920's people have any of you seen?? Me - ZILCH!

So not sure, want a fancy hat and a cheap outfit, but just not sure... any ideas?

Shapeless straight dress with dangly bits if poss. A sparkley hair band worn like a crown but lower (if you get my gist) a cigarette holder and voila... a flapper.
Dont forget the cupid bow lippy and penciled in eyebrows.Put your hair in a big bun. Oh and yes a feather boa :-)
Google images 'flapper'  - loads of ideas.

And NO before anyone asks. :-)

Im thinking maybe that dress, as its nice and not too horrible! ha ha, then ill have a pipe and i could get one of those black sash things you wrap around your arms...? yes or no with that outfit?? and a proper head piece as that one on that dress is a bit bob?...

Then my hair... just dont know what to do with that lol, its long and straight my hair...

Same as Toolz with red hair a flappers outfit would look great.

If you can finger wave the sides of your hair then put the rest into a low bun, that is very 1920's.

The Great Gatsby is that 1920's?   Any old Agatha Christie's will be 1920's too.

What about some of these dresses.  they had a really nice one recently but I couldn't find it tonight.  these are definitely wearable again.  As for the accessories, get on ebay for some cheapies
