Have any of you used this 'spot on' flea treatment?  It was Vet prescribed but our Rough Collie had a reaction to it last time and wasn't herself for about 2 days.  I won't use it again but I wondered if anyone else has had the same experience with it or whether it was just our girl.  With the flea season approaching, I think that I will go back to Frontline Spray.  Any thoughts on this would be welcomed.

Why not try giving your girl some garlic each day, that should protect her from fleas and also add vit b to her diet in the form of brewers yeast.  You can also use either a neem shampoo or a menthol shampoo, if your girl has reacted to flea treatments I would definitley be looking at natural remedies, and they do work.

Thanks for that perry, she has had no trouble in the past with Frontline, so I'll go back to that I think!  Funnily enough, I have only ever seen one flea on her on two occasions in 5 years!

I used to use Frontline spot on, on my Rough Collies years ago but it didn't stop them getting Harvest mites between there toes which I then used the spray There is now a Frontline combine spot on which when the eggs hatch kills the larve I am using that on my Aussie puppy.
