I remember when I was little we used to go to a resturant and my fave thing was a suet pie/pudding.  It was suet on the outside but the middle was all chucks of steak or mince.  Has anyone else had this before and has anyone got the receipe?

I make Steak and Kidney pudding which is made with suet pastry :) You can put just steak or mince inside if you want just be prepared to steam it to get a proper suet pud :) There are loads of online recipes including Delias here:

I remember mum buying the little single ones,we used to put them on the plate upside down and cut out little windows and a door we used to call them houses, also did it when my kids were little.Think you can get them from iceland still.

Not the same as proper home made suet party though which is light and fluffy when made properly :)
