What does everybody do with their old rosettes? Im moving house next week and have just had a clearout, obviously I will be keeping the 1st and special rosettes but is there anybody who can make use of bags and boxes of others? Charity, recycling etc.
If I had tons of rosettes, especially 1sts, what I would do is make my friends, family and strangers I dragged in off the street admire them all and say things like, "wow haven't you done well!"
However, since I only have one rosette (sad violin plays in background) and that is for 4th place in heelwork to music, I can't really help. I just wanted some sympathy! :)

what about gving them to a local nursery, the children will have loads of fun playing with them and making them into other things - unless political correctness and health and safety prohibits the use of second hand things that can't be sterilised.

Poor Julie - I can hear your violin from here.... would you like some? I have masses of the little beggars. I can't bring myself to chuck them away, seems disrespectful somehow- but they are a clutter.
Thanks for the offer Toolz, but I've got my one rosette arranged in a lovely display with my cycling proficiency award, my grade 1 recorder award, and my 50 metres swimming badge, so it looks quite good. :)

IF they are in good condition you could give them to a charity show as the centre boards can be replaced. A friend of mine always used to collect up her old reosettes and any she could get from friends. Then she would change the centre boards to read Oakley Silver Show, which she ran every year in aid of HDFD.

If other dog show organisers aren't interested, try some of the cheaper showing fancies. I know for a fact that most guinea pig clubs welcome donations of old rosettes. It feels horrible to throw them out!

What about local rescues that have open days with fun dog shows???????
They could then just replace the middles???
