Does anyone know how long it is valid for? i was under the impression it was only for a year.

I found this, looks like it's 3 years & then you need a refresher...

The certificate gained by completing the examination at the end of the course does not expire. However, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health recommends that holders of the certificate receive refresher training every 3 - 5 years.

With the company i work for (shouldnt really enclose i dont think) Food Hygiene certs are valid for 2 years with kitchen staff and 3 years for everyone else.
