I am just wondering if anyone can recommend any good kids thermal trousers. I 'm thinking of something that can be worn under school trousers, as my son has got a rash over his legs from the cold and school trousers are so thin he is freezing. I wish he could wear thick sensible trousers in the cold weather! Anyway would like some thermals that are comfy for him to wear and hopefully not too expensive.

Try ebay, they seem to have plenty.  I've just been on looking for myself!  Reasonably cheap too.

What a lovely Mummy! :-)
Good luck finding the thermals.

Just to say, in case anyone else is interested, TKMAXX have come up trumps again, they have lots of skiwear at the moment and I got a lovely set of thermal top and trousers for my son price £9.99. Also nice ski socks for £2.99 for 2 pairs and they have things for adults too. What with this cold snap I imagine others might be feeling chilly too! My son is thrilled with his thermal trousers! And I'm a happy mum to know his legs are toasty warm!

Thank you for the tip.  Both of my children seem to be really feeling the cold; I don't remember them ever being very bothered before but perhaps it's because it's got cold earlier than usual this year?  Off to shop tomorrow!

Mine seem to be feeling it more this year too, especially my youngest. I'm off to invest in some thermals today - thanks for the tip Honeybee!

Beware of long johns though - imagine embarrassment getting changed in PE!

Luckily my son isn't in the least embarrassed as he is happy to be warm and not concerned what anyone else thinks about his clothes! But also the long johns are sporty looking and don't look at all silly.
