Hi guys I call for your help once again!
My bitch who is NOT suppose to be pregnant had 3 scans no pups seen she does not look preggers and there is no sign of milk. Today she has shown clear stringy discharge (possible loss of plug???) she would be day 57 today from last mating and her temp is 37.7 c we had 2 blood test done and both was inconclusive showing some pregnancy hormone but not enough to make a full colour change to indicate positive.
What are your thoughts on this?

Stay with her and get prepared just in case.
Knowing what breed she is please be careful and if in doubt ring a vet who may want to
xray her or scan her.

Only just got my head round her not having babies and now I have to re consider the fact she might be, I knew it wasnt gonna be easy but I didnt expect all of this!!

Its more than likely that she isnt in pup but you need to be certain and sadly only time will
tell that.
How is she in herself?
You have my home number so feel free to ring anytime 24/7,phone is by my bed,I really do mean it if you are worried ring.

Thanks Carolyn! She is fine in herself sleeping at the mo she isnt really acting any different she has been more hungry than normal but thats about it. The vet said the same unlikey but to just see how she goes.....I really didnt think she was either, now I dont know what to think.
Hi Em
glad you back online was wondering how your girl was doing. definately keep very close watch on her.....my girl was a bit 'glassy eyed' all day wednesday....... .63rd day....... started panting for 10 mins.........then PLOP out came her first........the rest followed in fairly quick succession. according to the scan should have been 4......ended up with 6.......dont know where she was keeping them all as they quite big!! she also had this long stringy discharge virtually once every day........no smell or colour to it.
i was led to believe that my breed would be very difficult probably ending in caesar so was a bit phased by the speed and apparent ease from a maiden bitch.......but they obviously all different.........just like us!! lol

Hiya pixieell
Huge congrats!!...you must be feeling quite relieved, all tho the hard work has only just stared! ;o)
I honestly dont believe she has any in there, but I will continue to watch her just to be on the safe side!
have just gave her her breakfast and she has turned her nose up at it (roll eyes) think she is just playing with us!!
Will keep you updated!
The fact that your bitch has the discharge would indicate to me that she is in whelp ;-) It's usually a very good indication. So long as it is clear or milky in colour everything is progressing as it should. This can go on for days, so don't be too clingy with her, but keep a close eye on her for any change in behaviour.
Someone asked on another topic why we all talk about the book of the bitch, and how useful it is. This is one of those times where a copy really comes into its own :-D It's always handy to have it at hand for quick reference :-)
