Anyone going to do Gordon Ramseys cook along on Friday or done them in the past?

I am going to have a go on Friday, quite looking forward to a night in having fun, have got people over! Oh dear.....

It's a bit late, starting at 9 and could be a bit pricey buying the ingredients - but I heard staying in is the new going out??!!

I wouldnt be able to cook, I would be staring at the tv instead, I adore GR, unfortunately its my dad's 60th, so we have the party Friday night, good luck with the cook along!!

You get exercise as the same time :-)

I think I'd just prefer to admire GR's work from the comfort of my sofa!! Sounds very stressful all that running backwards & forwards!!! Gosh I sound really lazy....I'm not that bad, see previous posts I do cook & bake....

Who am I trying to kid, I'm lazy when I want to be....which just so happens to be most of the time

I much prefer to read a recipe book or have a play along in my own time. Dont think id like the regimented way of having to cook and keep up with Gordon. Does seem a very late time of night to put it on too.

Id prefer to watch him on TV with a takeaway and just hope and pray he takes his shirt off lol :-D
He is so gorgeous :)

Each to their own of course but Gordon Ramsay makes me turn off the telly, I find him very bullying and don't like his excessive swearing, also his cooking style just seems totally stressful! I always wonder why people put up with the way he speaks to them as he is so rude. I prefer nice sensible, relaxing Delia!!!

Its strange that!
As I find Delia really deconscending and sarcastic, kind of like a dissaproving mother no matter how good you do lol

Gordan will always be my fav, he's more entertaining yeah he swears but so do I, granted ot half as much tho lol and of course he is good looking ;) lol

Ha ha Yes Rach85 I know what you mean about Delia! But at least she is slow enough for me to follow. I guess I am old fashioned as I don't like to hear the 'f word' and would never use it myself.

Have you seen Dead Ringers?
They do a comedy sketch of Delia and its soo funny where shes saying she teaching people to boil water lol
Its so funny :)

But whyFriday night? Don't most people either go out or stay in with a takeaway? I love cooking but its the last thing I would want to do 9pm on a Friday.
