Sounds good to me R :)

There was a young girl (18 i think)who won £7 million on the lottery.
Imagine how many people you could help with that and still be alright on just the interst!

Yes, you could help out all your family, and charities of your choice, and STILL have loads left, fantastic. :-)

Dan must be the one with a bit of a beard then..............
Great going and good luck (and knowledge) all the way.
I was on the one that julian clary did, with my sister, we were billed as the 'bingo playing sisters'.
We failed but had great fun all the same, my darling son was in the audience making signs at me that weren't very flattering.....losers was the gist of it.

Aye it is...certainly wasnt the other guy lol although Dan tells me he was a really nice bloke
Wish id known about you being on tv idve looked out for you .

I would pay off my house I have now and give it to someone who could use it- prob my aunt then I would buy another house and go into rescueing animals :-) My children would be set for life but not until they were about 30 or so cause I would want them to know what it is like to have to make money and survive so in hopes money is spent wisely and not foolishly.

> I would pay off my house
As far as I know Dan has done just that and He told me he was thinking of maybe a new car.I know he put some of the cash towards T shirts with his band name on it to sell at their gigs too...although my 2 cost me nowt ;) lol

WOW lucky bugger!!! :)
I would buy a biggish not too big though house, nice car, irish red setter, gsd and a pom! haha, and of course have my gorge yorkie!!
Have a cleaner and a gardner!!
Wooo it would be fab to not have to worry about money! Its not everything, but it does releive a lot of stress!!

oops forgot to add, i would help my parents pay off whatever they needed as well and give my family some money to keep them steady!! x

I've not seen the programme at all, so I didn't realise it lasted more than a week. Good for him! It's nice when someone nice wins. I know two people who've won the lottery, one of whom won millions, the other just over a hundred thousand. I guess it rules out any chances of me winning big, but oh we can dream! :)

What would I do with loads of money?!
Surprise my dad with a new house and give him enough money so he can retire early or start his own business :)
Pay off debts :)
And most importantly I would open a rescue kennels on my mansions grounds and offer rehoming, boarding and training facilities :) That would be my dream life and also I would own about 20 staffords :) lol

I saw a documentary in NZ about people who had won 1st division on the lottery, not such big amounts, only up to about 5mil NZD but usually less.
Some of them were quite sensible, paid off the house, new cars, holidays etc.
One guy was what's called in NZ a 'Westie'. They live in West Auckland, wear scruffy black drainpipe jeans, have mullet hair and usually have the odd derelict car dumped on the front lawn and of course plenty of rock music (not saying there's anything wrong with this :) ).
Well, he won the big one and he didn't do anything sensible. He bought him and his best mate a Harley Davidson each, hired a limo to drive them both to collect the win from Wellington and booked them both into the best 5* hotel and basically lived there for 6 months getting drunk every night and frequenting brothels. By the time he realised the money was all gone he was in debt and had to sell the motorbikes.
When the interviewer was asking him if he had any regrets he was like, no mate I had the time of my life!

Well I have to say they are an interesting combination, Dan was looking good from the begining now, as time goes on, I have warmed to his partner, about whom I was uncertain at first. Yep a good team. :)
Am I right in thinking they were put together at the show, or were they friends before?
Karen

They were put together for the show, the team is made up of 2 complete strangers who have never met before in their life and the idea is to work as a team hopefully what one doesnt know the other will.
They made a good combination and Dan did say his partners knowledge was really good on stuff he'd got no clue on.
The shows were actaully filmed a while ago now so weve been waiting ages to watch him on tele,
I was so pleased at how much they won between them,Dans one of this worlds nice guys and totally deserved it.
He also still keeps in touch with the guy who partnered him from time to time too.
