Well I cooked the goose, and my husband and son were not impressed, I did follow  the recipe and I did not really like the taste, I prefer chicken of turkey to be honest. But it was given us for free so thought we would give it a try. Will not be buying one for xmas though stick to what I know anyway thanx for the tips everyone gave me

Thats a shame.We love goose and duck here!Mind you we have had an odd duck/goose that was tough and little flesh.
