What is the best dry dog food in your opion for my dog to lose weight she is so big im worried about her health it seems to have crept up on us. Ive tried cutting down on her portions but to no avail so im thinking of changing her diet but not sure which food to go for, any suggestions ?

I think the Burns high oats one is meant to be quite good - haven't had a problem with mine getting overweight so am speaking from what others have said - but I have also been told that they have someone on the phone that will advise. HTH. :-)

Royal Canin light is good I have found, but I still think food is only part of the answer and a bit more excersise will do most good!!
Try filling her up with some veg, if she will eat it. What have you got her on at the moment?

We couldn't get ours to gain weight on Burns, so I would have also thought it would be great for tubbies!

Is there a diet variety of the food she is currently enjoying?

Being honest if you reduce the food they have to lose weight.  If they are not losing weight your are feeding too much :-)  If the food suits reduce it. It is far more easy to get weight off than on :-)
