Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Food Question

Hi,This is my first post on here and I have been reading with interest that a few people feed their dogs both Naturediet and Natures Menu,I was wondering if anyone has any digestive problems switching between the two or do their dogs seem to tolerate it ok.I used to feed Naturediet original and lamb but since the changes only feed the lamb variety so was looking for something else to add a bit of variety to my dogs diet. Thanks

my dog does fine on both, then again i often joke he has a stomach of steel!! as a young pup i introduced one at a time and now will shift between them, usually natures harvest and natures menu. he also gets tripe and tinned fish through his meal as well (not at same time) at various times through the week. i try to vary his diet a bit and as long as it doesnt upset his stomach (which nothing has yet) then i will continue to do so.

A friend of mine who has been in our breed over 30 years also varies puppies diet, putting something different in their dried food often, ie tuna, srdines, tripe etc, she swears by this method and it saves the puppies having the runs when they go to their new homes as usually new puppy owners give lots of different treats throughout the day.

I do that with puppies also, varying there diets, and it seems to work for us, as I would say all ours have stomach's of steel, if you bring them up to eat anything, they usually do, all 7 of ours eat whatever's put in front of them.
They never have the same thing in there kibble twice a week.
