Stop using it and just clean ears with sterlised water until ears are better.
Have you been placing thornit in ear hole?

It should be used in moderation, just a tiny amount on the outer ear flap if you have a mite infection.

When I used it, I started to rins out his ears, because they were really filthy.. Then air dried them really good.. Then I had the powder in.. Held his ear like a funnel, and sprinkeled a pinch of Thornit in his ear... Left it for a few days, and checked his ears again.. They were filthy, full of brown "mud"... This time I just used a dry cotton pad to whipe ut  and dry of his ear flap. Then I waited anoter two days, and once again rinsed his ears out.. dried.. an had the powder in.... This I repeted for anoter week, then I discovered several bleading wounds... IIIIK!! Now, I only use Otoclean...every other day...  My other Afghan hasnt had any problems at all with Thornig, and his ears are clean:-)

Diadora you never ever rinse a dogs ear canal unless your a vet as you will cause much damage.  Please stop doing this and if ears are bleeding go to your vet. You also do not use any other products while using thornit. If you wish to wipe the ears a semi damp cotton pad with cooled boiled water will do the trick to clean them but do not allow water to dribble down the ear canal.

The thornit was working here is a link that tells you the instructions http://www.petstums.co.uk/shop/page/11?shop_param=
INSTRUCTIONS - EARS
Any excess moisture can be gently mopped up with a cotton wool swab. DO NOT REMOVE WAX. Under normal circumstances powder should NOT be put in ears but the brown wax acts as a cork. Get the animal in a good position lying on its side. With cats this can be difficult and help may be needed. Give the animal some love, apply a pinch of powder using the end of a spoon. Lightly dust round the inner ear avoiding the ear hole. Gently massage it in with your fingers from the outside. Apply Thornit twice a day. Relief comes with-the-first dose, but the treatment should continue for 1 - 5 days (usually 3). When the brown wax starts to move, stop. This means the mite is dead, and the wax will come away, pushing out the powder and leaving a clean ear. A pinch of Thornit in each ear once a week will keep the animal free from re-infection. For breeds with long ears it is advisable to dip the ends of the ears in Thornit once a week.
