I'm still pretty new to showing and was wondering if some one could answer a couple of questions for me ( dog type leonberger )

Is there set classes only that your dog can recieve a cc @ a champ show or does it differ depending on the show ?

For instance the LKA does mpd qualify or would it have to be pd , i just have no clue how it works.

One of the shows i entered my bitch into the graduate  class does not qualify but post grad class does .

Would be great if anyone can make this clearer for me  :0)

At championship shows where CCs are on offer, the winners of all classes are assembled at the conclusion of judging and the CC and Reserve Cc are awarded. Therefore all winners from Minor puppy through to open are eligible to win the CC.

As Toolz said, with the minor addition that it is all class winners that have not been beaten in a subsequent class. We all take it for granted, but could be confusing when you're new to this strange world.

I suspect that what you're really thinking about is which class wins qualify for Crufts, rather than for the CC. The wins that qualify are 1-3 in Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior, Post Grad, Limit and Open. Some breeds can also qualify from Yearling classes, but this won't apply to Leos.
