Can I just ask if anyone has used this lady to scan their bitches and how accurate she was at predicting numbers? The lady sounds lovely on the phone but don't know anyone who has used her services.
My experienced vet can only see 1 puppy on US which is a MASSIVE problem and will probably require a section, so I want to plan it rather than have an emergency at whelping time. I am weighing up having my girl scanned by this lady to see how many pups or having her xrayed nearer to whelping.
Worried as heck!

I haven't used Domini, but I know a good few Obedience people who have & they are more than satisfied. She is a real "dog"person

Ok thank you - if anyone else has used her I'd be very grateful for some feedback on numbers.

Hi, I accompanied a friend to a scan by Domini last week. We both found her to be a lovely lady, very helpful indeed and very down to earth.
She has predicted 5 pups, after 2 previous vet scans , one saying one, the other saying 2.
Can let you know how many at the end of October.

We used her about 8 years ago, and she was accurate. :-)

Thank you everyone - Jacque your friends litter will be due around the same time as mine if she is actually in pup.
It's mad really because normally I would never scan! I don't know what possessed me on this occasion! I suppose seeing my friend have her bitch scanned really excited me about knowing - I wish I'd left well alone now.
I've decided to have my girl xrayed nearer to her due date, so in about 10 days time I'll know for sure. After consulting various sources, it was agreed that ultrasound scanning at this point would be fairly useless, so xray it is.
Thanks again.
can you tell me what area she is in or tel no please

Thought you were not allowed to advertise I was told to change my username from stud dog because i was told I was advertising not sure what i was advertising but obviously one rule for one and not for another

You cannot advertise your dog or your service but you can recommend a business you are not connected to.

Quite a number of members have been asked to change their user name. However this is an Information exchange and so long as none of the posters are the scanner concerned themselves then information is being exchanged rather than advertising.

Ok I understand but I am not a scanner and i am not promoting any stud dog . I have a good working knowledge of canine reproduction and am prepared to offer any advice that I can on the subject based on my own clinical knowledge and experience.
