I hate Morphine...makes me sick Yuck!! Tramadol too, your lucky you can take opiates! Most pain relief works quicker and better if administered...from the rear!!!!want some latex gloves??

lol, interestingly my mum has some of those just in case...

i'm grand with the tramadol but the morphine did make me puke (and ouch that hurt!). my sis has gilberts so can't take opiates so i do feel lucky that i can manage them.

i got to keep the epidural in for 3 days though which was great, didn't feel a thing lol and got a good chat with the pain doctor (whos a pal of my mums) about her tibetan mastiffs :)

Welcome back....pleased it went ok.....I love pethadine and morphine! One of the lucky ones it works on :) Hope the pain wears off soon and good luck for a swift recovery :)

ta! feeling pretty good, only a little sore and i get tired easily but dexter warned me about that. currently catching up on the things my mum and dad sky +'d for me :)

i was worried about the dogs in case they were bouncy and inadvertantly hurt me but they have been great, even Tio (who is stupid) has only tried to disembowel me (lovingly) once. kizzy came dancing in then stopped dead and gently climbed up on my bed and snuggled in next to me. sweet girl :)

Dont know if you can, but if you take pain meds with milk, I always find that it helps with the upset stomach.  I had been on some pretty harsh ones in the past, but milk always made the nasty side effects go away.
