hi, I have 9 week old pups who are fed on james wellbeloved dry with a bit of wainwrights meat mixed in, but over the last few days they wont eat it. So today i tried them on frozen chicken mince which you buy from pets at home mixed in with JWB (cooked chicken first), they all scoffed the lot, just a bit concerned that its not puppy food and wondered if they are ok to have it.

Yup they'll be fine with it.  I wean mine onto raw mince anyway - meat is meat - there's no distinction between puppy and adult ;-)

Oh and I wouldn't bother cooking it!  Too much like hard work!  Raw is best.

I've got 4 week old pups -their first meal a week ago was chicken mince. :) Now they have 2 meals of chicken mince and 2 meals of James Wellbeloved a day, and in the next few days I will be adding other things so they get a variety and their stomachs get used to different things. You're better off not cooking it though -I just take it out to defrost for a little while first. Raw is better.

do i have to give them anything else to go with this raw mince?, just been reading up on it, and it says to give fruit and veg as well. Is there enough vitamins in feeding raw?.

I don't raw feed, but I would say no, as they are having JWB as well, which is a complete food.
