My 21year old son is working!!!!!
He left school 1/2 way through A's. He then worked in a couple of places for a few weeks and has since been unemployed/ off sick for a couple of years.............depression.......Agh it has been so hard to be supportive, we have gone around in circles from getting mad and threatening to kick him out, and all other variations you could think of.
Finally he has started to settle. A back to work course of 8 weeks doing manual stuff at a recycling place. Now as a data in-putter temp job, today he got another at a bank in reconcilliation. ( I would find that so boring) But I feel like jumping up and down and sharing out the champagne............
So raise a glass please.....to a continuation.......

And a glass of the old red stuff raised here too :) It can be very hard to get out of a downward spiral so full marks to him for managing to turn things round :)

~~** Fabulous news!! ~~**

> So raise a glass pleas

*wipes neck of bottle and grabs a glass*
"Cheers!"
note: that photo was an awfully long time ago, and no passengers were harmed in its making! ;)

congats to your boy for starting to turn his life around and also for you as youve been there for him and must be so proud!
cheers!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! :-)
It must be such a weight off your mind to see he is getting his life on track.
Congratulations! It's a great feeling, isn't it? My 30year old son started working a few months ago for the first time and is thoroughly enjoying it. Ok, he is a single parent and took time out, but hey, he's working!
