I just picked up a schedule for an open show in nov, and the classes for my breed are sp yearling, graduate and open. im a bit confused as to what sp yearling is? doesnt have a definition at start of schedule (you know the bit they explain the classes and other terms) my boy will be 11months so dont know what class to enter. its the only breed that has this class, every other one has puppy junior etc.

Special Yearling, its for ages upto 24 months. My boy has just moved up to it from Junior. Hope this helps :)

is there a lower age limit? i thought yearling was 12-24months?

Special Yearling is Special because it's 6-24 months rather than Yearling which is 12-24 :) So yes, your boy can go in it!
