I have 3 labradors, 1 black, 1 yellow who are brothers and 1 chocolate.  Over the last few days the 2 brothers have been licking the chocolate labradors bottom and won't leave him alone.  Any ideas why they are doing this

He might have an infection. I would take him for a check up at the vets.

My thoughts also Isabel.. or possibly anal glands need emptying...

sorry if this sounds dumb, but how do I clean his anal glands and is this something I should do regularly to all 3 of them.  Thanks

your vet will do this for you.. and show you how to do it in future

One of my dogs has her glands done quite regular, but it something i would not attemp to do myself unless you know how to do it correctly for fear of damage to your dog....the vet is the best option.

I would certainly take my dog to a vet for that goings on... your dog will wonder what the hell you are doing stinking a rubber gloved finger up his back passage- the smell is minging and could upset your dog.

I helped my mate out the other day by taking her cat in my car to the vet, [it had a wound on its back] and this vet noticed his glands were blocked -god knows how she knew? all those years of vet school paid off?.. well I stood right out of the way- but the cat took it well and he did look like he felt better. :-)
