Hi, Is it possible to find out entry numbers for open shows? I know champ show numbers are readily available, but I've never seen any for open shows.

If they don't publish them, the only way I found is to contact the show secretary about a week before the show to ask.  Good luck.  Becki

I had to phone the secretary anyway with another query, and I also asked if it was possible to find out entry numbers and they said they don't give out that info.

This one does, but it's the only one I've seen so far! :)

Not all will give entry details however some open show secretaries will publish the entry in the dog papers
or on their websites.

The two that I know that do this in the South of the UK are Maidenhead and DCS and Guildford.

We do too, can't see why not. However the absentee rate at open shows can be very high so it is best not to take too much notice of the numbers entered before you are due in the ring, that way you will almost certain to miss a class sooner or later.
