Can I just ask you all to keep your fingers and toes crossed for my friends dog who underwent an op for a severe torsion late last night...he came through the op OK but is still very poorley on a drip in the vets. He is no youngster for his breed and needs all the help we can give him. He is a true Gentleman and we all love him to bits. Thanks Aileen
I have everything crossed for your friends dog. Experienced this with one of mine four years ago, the worst time of my life. Many survive and have full lives afterwards. Difficult, I know, but keep thinking positive thoughts.
Just a quick update for you. He is now home and making a slow recovery..not quite out of the woods yet but the signs are promising. Thanks for all your kind thoughts. Aileen
Aileen that is fantastic news, I always think that the first 48 hours is always the worst time for such an op. He has come through that so hopefully everything will now start to heal.
