hi my pups are now 18 days old now and i've just gave them thier first course of panacur worm treatment but as i never wormed mum while pregnant only before having her mated should i now worm her with panacur on a 3 day course as i did with the pups probably i should have wormed mum while  wormig her pups but would that then over dose on her pups  through mums milk

mum should be wormed the same as pups but ive not used panacur before but im sure i read somewhere on here that thay wormed the bitch a couple of days after the pups when useing panacur , sorry if thats no help x x x

i gave my bitch drontal plus  same time as i wormed pups

my mum had drontal plus on the last day of the 3 day course of panacur given to the puppies.  Drontal plus is easier for adult dogs as its just a tablet given with or without food.  I always put the tablets in a piece of chicken or other meat.  With the pups if using panacur then it is given after their food and it doesn't usually upset their tums, although i hope i'm not speaking to soon as my pups are in the middle of their 2nd worming!

i prefer drontal plus for adults a s you say easy to administer
