we have just lost our old staffy through illness now the puppy seems lost she needs cheering up without us getting a new dog any ideas?

How sad! you poor things. All I can suggest is to pay little pup lots of attention, give her lots of fuss and love and play games/ do training with her - basically anything to try and take her mind of her loss, it will help you too :)

we have been doing all of the above its only been a few days so hopefully things will change cheers

Do you have friends with dogs that you could meet up with and let her mix with?

Also a change of routine helps - do things at different times, maybe walk in different places?
