Hi Gina....passport is usually started when puppy is 3 months old. He/she has a microchip & rabies vacc, some vets will do 2 rabies vaccs 2 weeks apart. 30 days after the rabies, a blood test is taken & if the titre is acceptable, then 6 months from the date of the blood test, the puppy can come into the UK or Ireland on his/her passport. So, the usual age is around 10 months, give or take a couple of weeks depending on travel arrangements. If the pup fails the titre, then the blood test has to be redone & you start again.

We are wanting to import a Pom. from Spain to take it to the European show next year but getting a bit short on time and haven't heard from the breeder for a few weeks.
are you coming over for the european winner's show next may :-)

yyyyyyeeessss :) Arranged for 6 of us so far from our training club to go. Do you know any campsites nearby? Got to sort this out pretty soon really.
Showing my youngest Spanish there and also hoping that we will have a new imported Pomeranian by then fingers crossed but because of the language barrier having difficulties arranging this unfortunately!
